After graduating from Indiana University School of Dentistry in 1972, Dr. Steve Branam completed two years of additional training in pediatric dentistry at Riley Children's Hospital in Indianapolis, IN. He received his Pediatric Specialty Certification in 1974 with special emphasis in child growth and development and orthodontics.

Dr. Branam went on to practice children's dentistry in the U.S. Army and subsequently established private practice in Oregon, OH in 1976. Since 1977, he has been on the Courtesy Staff and Faculty at the Medical College of Ohio (MCO), teaching pediatric dental techniques to dental and medical residents. He has also been on the attending staff at St. Vincent Hospital and Medical Center in (Toledo, OH ?) since 2000.

Dr. Branam is a member of the American Dental Association, Ohio Dental Association, American Society of Dentistry for Children, The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, The American Association of Functional Orthodontics and The American Academy of Dentistry for Handicapped Children.

In his 35 years in practice, Dr. Branam has provided preventive dental care and treatment to over 250,000 young patients.
